Nancy Pelosi ripped up Donald Trump’s State of the Union address. And now, the memes…

When asked why she ripped up Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech after he had finished speaking before the House chamber last night, Nancy Pelosi told reporters, “Because it was the courteous thing to do considering the alternatives.”

A little while later, the Speaker released a statement further explaining her motivations. It read, in part: “The manifesto of mistruths presented in page after page of the address tonight should be a call to action for everyone who expects truth from the President and policies worthy of his office and the American people.”
