It’s Father’s Day! Otherwise known as the #1 ranking day in which the most collect calls are made in America, according to AT&T.
Much to the chagrin of folks like Bryan Fischer and “ex-gay bisexual” Robert Oscar Lopez, adoptions by same-sex couples have been on the rise for some time. The number of gay couples raising children rose from 8 percent in 2000 to 19 percent in 2009.
This year, Hallmark released its first-ever gay Father’s Day e-card. Seeing as how greeting cards are the #1 gift given on Father’s Day, we’re sure it’s only a matter of time before other card companies follow suit.
To celebrate all the great gay dads in the world, we thought we’d compile a list of adorable photos of modern families.

How come you never show a picture of a gay black couple raising a white child?
hassia
@Kieran: Lame I am sure that you know that white babies in the States are the most sought after children to adopt.I am sure you are also aware that those children will first go to a white family. Lastly I am sure those black couples just want to have a child so I think they will take a child that is available.
Kieran
@hassia : I wasn’t aware there are NO white babies or children in orphanages in the States. I was under the impression that there were probably thousands of white kids looking to be adopted by families of any race. Thanks for clarifying that.

I would love to post a pic of my 14 y/o and myself, but might show me choking him lol

This is adorable and heartwarming. I myself am a gay dad and would post a photo of my husband and son if I could! Congrats to all those beautiful families.

Now this is a nice tribute to Gay Dads…#5 and #9 crack me up for some reason..too cute. They all make me smile.
@Kieran: Seriously!?! Come on…why ya gotta try and make a political point on something so positive? Not to mention something so ridiculous, written only to troll for controversy. You’re just blowing smoke out your ass. Inflict your damage someplace else. Hows this, why don’t you start a blog….Gay Black Dads with w/ white kids. I’m sure for all the families that reflects they would like it and feel better represented. You could take all that misplaced righteous anger and do something positive with it!

Such beautiful families. Every single one. Hopefully my Mom and my Mother-in-Law to be won’t see this. They’ve been on us for grandchildren for years. They’re just going to settle for grandbeagles.

What a sweet post!! Thanks, Queerty!

One of your best posts, EVER! Thanks for the shared love and joy, Queerty!
@Kieran: Whenever two or more are gathered together, there’s gonna be a douche-bag!

Thanks, Queerty. The three guys laughing at the table was so nice and genuine.

@Kieran: because according to media, there aren’t any. To be more serious, can you imagine a social services agency placing in such a way? In this “greatest country the world has ever known” can you imagine a Black gay couple walking through the mall in anywhere USA with a white child, particularly a girl?

@Lvng1tor: it is not a political statement Monsieur Naive. He was making a valid point. If anyone has their head up the ass of Pollyanna, from your overly exuberant comment, it would be you.

I got 2 girls, 4 boys, I am the only HOMO in the family and all is hunky-dory. PS-NO Christian in my house.
