Out rugby star Keegan Hirst didn’t cut any corners in his homage to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and his hard work and dedication paid off in the form of a shoutout from Mr. The Rock himself.

Halloween may still be weeks away, but Hirst posted a video to social media of his Rock costume, and impression, to celebrate a different holiday: Mad Monday.

Mad Monday marks the end of the Australian National Rugby League season, with fans and players known to get a bit rowdy.

Hirst took the opportunity to wear a Rock speedo and offer up this WWE-style speech:

And wouldn’t you know it — his performance was enough to capture the attention of The Rock himself.

Johnson commented: “Well done bro and ITS DOESNT MATTER IF YOU CAME BACK TO #MADMONDAY.”
