OMGOMGOMG. Thanks to Ava DuVernay, Sade is coming out of hibernation, albeit only briefly.

Yesterday, DuVernay tweeted that Sade would be contributing an original song for A Wrinkle In Time, which comes out next month.

DuVernay wrote:

I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway. She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget. Proud to announce that Sade has created an original song for WRINKLE IN TIME. It’s entitled “Flower of the Universe.” And it’s a dream come true.

“Flower Of The Universe” will be the first time Sade released any new music sing her band’s 2010 album Soldier Of Love and it has people more than a little excited:

The soundtrack to A Wrinkle In Time will also feature music from DJ Khaled, Demi Lovato, Sia, Kehlani, and more. The film hits theaters on March 9.
