Game one of the 2017 World Series in Los Angeles on Tuesday is expected to be the hottest World Series game ever, as a heat wave brings evening temperatures upwards of 95 degrees.
But the Dodgers are no strangers to a little heat.
In fact, star outfielder Enrique “Kike” Hernández was on fire in the fifth game of the National League Championship Series, hitting 3 home runs, including a grand slam, and driving in 7 runs to tie the record for most RBI in a postseason game, helping send the Dodgers to the World Series for the first time since 1988. But the real fireworks went off post-game in the Dodgers’ locker room, where Hernández celebrated with some booty-shaking realness.

Every player on the roster gets bonus money if they get to this point… I’m familiar with those things.
It’s negotiated in every Major League contract. Same for the NFL and the Super Bowl, the NBA and the Championship Game, and the NHL and the Stanley Cup. These dudes also got smaller bonuses for getting to the divisionals and league championships, too.
