“Books are filled with facts and the Internet is filled with trash,” explains Adam Rippon on HBO’s excellent daily news program, Vice News Tonight.
In his “Vicepedia” segment, Adam shows his comedy chops while fact-checking the web. Along the way, he goes into detail about his presence on Grindr, including a dramatic recreation of his headless profile pic, otherwise known as the “typical upper lip to navel sort of middle ground experience.”
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Someone give him a show.
You can watch the segment, which follows far more serious content on the March 16 episode of Vice News Tonight (the 22:36 mark to be precise), below:
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

Ok then…he could use better material..i like him.but he’s gotta be careful he’s not everywhere ..and people tire of him

I’m actually coming around to re-liking him. He’s at least self-deprecating, not very self-serious, refuses to play victim, is genuinely clever and has yet to completely put all his business out there. Honestly, most of his personality seems more like a public persona than anything else. If you look at him as a commedian by way of ice skater it kinda makes sense. Although, yes, his cute face, adorable fem voice and fvckable ass does equate to getting a longer leash.
He does need to step back a lil bit and find a slightly different lane.

I have to agree with you there. I don’t know who he is or what his major contributions towards humanity is, but everytime I turn around a gay site is applauding him for ridiculousness. Clearly he’s a flash in the pan that is getting some brief attention all of a sudden that will hopefully and quickly grow tired.

The comments section of this site reminds me thst many people are not in the closet because they are worried that ppl might know they like to suck dick. They’re worried ppl will assume they act like you guys.

Being an a-hole on the internet has nothing to do with orientation. Otherwise, the internet in general would be a lot more friendly.

I am sure the only reasons people are all up on this pic is because he is a twink and from what I can tell from the pic. That is his 15 mins of fame give him until until he doesn’t look like he is 12 and people would have moved on and forgotten all about him
Donston
I can understand not caring for the dude or even being annoyed with him for promoting every shallow stereotype. But there’s no reason to hate the guy. He’s just making his paper. And at least he’s genuinely funny.

He is my fem-boy dream, and I love him.
Donston
I have to admit he’s mine as well. Though for me it’s dream “fool around for a few days” type not quite dream boyfriend.
alanballs
Adam’s also my vanilla fem-boy dream, even though I prefer Asian guys. He’s a good man; handsome, talented, funny and entertaining and I’d bet he’d make a fantastic partner for the lucky guy.
judysdad
“Adorable” femme voice? That’s your idea of a turn-on? Well, as my dear old granny used to say: “There’s a lid for every pot.”.
You can have him. As for me, can’t stand to even look at him.
Donston
I have attraction to, passion towards and fantasies about a variety of type of guys, including some pretty and sassy effeminate dudes. And if I weren’t married I’d be on that ass as soon as I was invited as many guys would be.

Love you, Adam…. period.

He’s most everyone’s inner child’s best friend. He’s tuned into his innocence and in turn, tunes us into ours. If he wants to stare at his butt hole bc it’s one of those things that gets him through the day? Then we’re there staring at ours right along with him.
He’s the consummate sweetheart three year old in an adult male body that’s more mature than most. He “knows” the vastness of his limits and yours and in that makes one feel safe. Hard act to follow when grace is his calling card.
If I had to choose a card that I think he might pull consistently at random, it would be the King of Hearts. Every time.
Adam and the gun generation are a new breed saying “not me”, don’t include us in your perfectly corrupt world. We’ve got this”. Love, the “not me” generation.
Hoping, it’s on its way out. Real help has arrived.
Go Adam. ET. Al.

Then please do something about all the “bitter queens” comments that get tossed around on this site.
The LAST place that internalized homophobia should be tolerated is… on a blog called “Queerty”.

MikeE, thanks for this feedback. I’m sorry that you’ve been seeing so much of that here. I’ll keep my eyes peeled.

He’s out of the closet and well known. More power to him.
Although he has come around, I compare Adam Rippon and his way of talking to the media to people like Sean Hayes when he first came out. Angry, tried to attack the lgbt community, basically attacking everything but the bigotry that had kept hi in the closet.
As far as I’m concerned, give this guy a show.

Are you sure you wrote this correctly about AR? If so please back it up bc I don’t see one bit of this in AR.
Josh447
Nor do I see it in Sean Hayes….

I love everything about him. He’s fantastic. So cute, too.
