Trouble in paradise

Jaden Smith and Tyler, the Creator are no longer boyfriends?

Days after professing his love for Tyler, the Creator — first on stage, then online — Jaden Smith has deleted a tweet confirming the whirlwind romance.

To back it up, Smith made the initial announcement during a recent show at Dodgers Stadium, although judging by his delivery and Tyler’s reaction, we’re guessing the gesture was more symbolic than literal.

“I just want to say Tyler, the Creator is the best friend in the whole world and I love him so f*cking much,” the 20-year-old performer said. “And I want to tell you guys something… Tyler doesn’t want to say, but Tyler is my motherf*cking boyfriend, and he’s been my motherf*cking boyfriend my whole f*cking life. Tyler the Creator is my f*cking boyfriend! It’s true!”

Smith followed that up with a tweet directed at Tyler, writing: “Yup @tylerthecreator I Told Everyone You Can’t Deny It Now.”

He has since deleted that tweet, making this story even stranger than it already was.

And to add intrigue, Smith posted a photo of the two instead, along with the date “November 17”, suggesting a possible collaboration coming soon:

With the deleted tweet, it would seem Smith would rather the conversation be about his upcoming release, and not his “relationship” with Tyler.

It’s pretty clear the guys aren’t actually dating, but that hasn’t stopped Twitter from leaving comments like this on the photo:

But not everyone is buying the hype:

This isn’t the first time Smith has shown Tyler some love. Back in 2015, he tweeted:
