FASHION HAUS

PHOTOS: Nasty Pig Turns Out Choice Cuts For Fetish Fashionistas

We donned our best chaps last week and trod over to Chelsea leather-and-fetishwear haven Nasty Pig, just in time to make the launch party for their new Choice Cuts line, which the store calls “a capsule collection of garments and accessories hand-made in New York City that help confident guys stand out from the crowd.” (Check out some of our fave items from the collection below). Sipping on Balls vodka cocktails, we bumped elbows (and other body parts) with Nasty Pig owner David Lauterstein (the bald blue-eyed devil above) and perused the wares. Warning: Drinking and shopping is a very dangerous combination—for your bank account! With Black Party coming this weekend, kinky New Yorkers are looking for that perfect item to draw the right kind of attention. But how do you know if you’re going overboard? “Don’t worry about what everyone else thinks,” advises Lauterstein. “Just do you.” Ugh, David, that’s been our dating life for the past six months!   Choice Cuts: Hogtie ($59),  ZIPx3 Gauntlet ($129), Rubber Mudflap ($139)   Click through for more photos from Nasty Pig’s Choice Cuts party Photos: Michael Alexander Kolesnikoff, Sam Hatmaker

    When I’m good, I’m VERY good. When I’m nasty, I’m even better! — total nod to Mae West.

  • Codswallop

    “Rubber Mudflap”?

    Oh. I was thinking “Leather Butt-Cape.”

  • Paul F

    @Codswallop: The rubber mudflap is needed after eating at taco hell to deflect the after effects.

    I like the rope harness… and the rope on the guys in the window… looks Hot on their arms…

  • Mo

    The hottest guy at the party was wearing Hollister?

    NastyPig is pointless overpriced designer clothing that some gay men love to spend all their cash on.

  • Stark

    @Drew:

    *insert any designer clothing label here* is pointless overpriced designer clothing that some gay men love to spend all their cash on.

    And I wholeheartedly agree.

  • Mike

    Gay men who need to buy overpriced pointless gear made by Nasty Pig aren’t all that masculine or fetish oriented to begin with.

    Then again this is one of the major reasons why leather has become such a total joke and has been for decades.
