It’s ESPN Body Issue season, that special time of year when the sports media property delivers its annual ode to the athletic form.
While the issue hit newsstands last week, ESPN rolls out several video profiles on its featured athletes to ramp up and maintain excitement. It’s not a bad plan.

We already heard from the burly Philadelphia Eagles offensive line, and now we’re learning all about the…mechanics…of professional racecar driving from James Hinchcliffe.

I don’t watch racing but saw this guy on a car commercial and thought he was a tiny, hot guy. Sort of pings for me, too. Nice to see he keeps fit.

How insidious! So typical of unrequited, self-hating f**s. And we fuss about Trump’s lack of compassion and humanity. WOW.

He’s such a great guy and loved watching him on DWTS.

If you have nothing nice to say…..

There’s nothing remotely admirable or sexy about anyone engaged in dangerous, gas-guzzling, speed-glorifying motor sports. It’s a deplorable sport.
rustyiam
Oh brother!

It gives the guy joy. He”s doing what he loves. He’s also probably making a nice payday while doing it. Could you do the same sport? Judging by your negativity and lack of enthusiasm for what is required both mentally and physically — I think not. While I can’t do so either — I don’t throw stones at those who can.
avesraggiana
Cute guy – but he really needs to do some squats, split squats, Bulgarian split squats – anything to build up that ass.
BuddyinCA
Very shallow. The purpose of the issue is to rail against the very shaming you’re doing. What if someone said that to you? How would such comments make you feel. Build people up — don’t tear them down.

Let’s see your ass, asshole

Can’t anyone just watch the video and appreciate him for what and who he is? For Gods sake, he’s not arrogant, he’s lucky to be alive, he’s good looking, and he does something for a living that none of us will ever have the skill and training to do. If you think the sport is “deplorable”, then don’t watch it. If you don’t like his body type, or his ass, then don’t look.
BuddyinCA
@Aires EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!

The issue is about body acceptance for loving yourself as you are. All of these petty and juvenile comments regarding what this guy\s body looks like is body shaming. Two questions for all of the body shamers… How would you feel if you were the recipient of these comments? As a community that wants to be accepted and treated with dignity, respect, and equality — if you shame someone in that bullying manner, you are no better than the people who didn’t accept you. As an aside, I am a physically disabled person, and have seen the same nasty comments if someone who is physically disabled is expressing his sensuality/sexuality in a way that some are not used to. It’s disheartening and hurtful to those of us who have been judged for our physical differences rather than judged for the beauty of our character.

Naked ain’t naked unless you see it all.

Formula One has a bunch of hotties. Check out Charles LeClerc, Max Verstappen, and Pierre Gasly among others.
djmcgamester
Nice. Fluff piece for hotness but it was a nice anyway. Funny how something bad happening can give you a whole new perspective on life. Went through hard times myself recently and did something I’d been wanting to do for a long time: spent six hours today naked outside. So I relate to Hinchcliffe.
