We’ve written about former BBC News reporter James Longman before, and we’re more than happy to be writing about him again:  Starting Monday, he’ll be joining ABC News as a foreign correspondent.

We image that Americans are about to fall woefully behind on current events — because they’ll be too busy gawking over Longman to process what’s coming out of his mouth.

Longman spent five years reporting for the BBC from Beirut, and is fluent in French, Arabic, and English.

Oh, also: The 30-year-old Middle East specialist doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with sharing intimate moments and intensely shirtless workouts on Instagram while also keeping the public up-to-date on world affairs.

“I don’t think that my life with my friends, going to the beach, is a conflict,” he tells Attitude. “I think it’s good, certainly for a younger audience, to know a bit more about the people who are telling them about the world.”

Although perhaps there have been a few times where he’s revealed a little too much on social media.

“There are a couple of posts on my Instagram that are a bit close to the line and I probably won’t do that again” he says.

We’ve meticulously gone through every photo in his Instagram account and personally don’t see anything wrong at all:
