I thought that the later post done by Raneir Pollard was a really message for Independence Day. While I am not an American I am old as dirt as well so it may be am age thing.

@JRamonMc Frankly…Who cares about the “stars and stripes” or whatever. I am sick of of performance patriotism. People claim they love freedom and liberty but then get hot and bothered when people don’t submit to their ideal of Americanism. That’s the point of freedom and liberty. Know one is obligated to “respect” the flag or give fealty to this country. Like black people have a reason to stand up for it. I don’t mean to be so dark but this triggers me because its the same BS used to silence black voices when the protest injustice.

Is it wrong that I don’t know who most of these people are. No criticism, though that Jeffree Star person is just NO. I know Tom Daley (who doesn’t) but I actually have a thing for gay nerd/geeks and that Elliot fits the bill. Yes, I choose to be shallow since Queerty chose to be shallow.

Like some others, somehow this kind of article makes me feel oddly excluded from the gay world… I have only ever heard of two of these guys – Jeffree Star and Tom Daley. And while the idea is that this is supposed to be a bunch of hot guys off Instagram, there is – maybe – one I would swipe right on. Wesley Tucker, whoever that is, maybe, if i were drunk. And I am not even that picky.
To each his own, of course, but I feel like there is a ‘type’ always missing from these reports on Queerty. And I know that I am not alone, because the guys who ARE my ‘type’ have the most views and followers on all of the online fora. So, why do they never appear here?
